Which detection service should I choose?
Choose Turnitin for academic AI-writing and similarity reports, iThenticate for research-paper AI-writing reports, Quick AI for a preliminary writing-pattern review, or ZeroGPT for a separate AI-writing score.
Do I need to buy separate credits for each service?
No. Quick AI, Turnitin, iThenticate and ZeroGPT share your Textsure Credits. Each service has its own cost and document requirements; review them before submitting.
Is Quick AI equivalent to a Turnitin report?
No. Quick AI is Textsure's own writing-pattern review. It highlights passages that read as formulaic and explains why, rather than producing a Turnitin or iThenticate score. Read the two separately.
What is the difference between similarity and AI detection?
Similarity checking looks for matching text in sources. AI-writing detection estimates patterns associated with generated writing. The two scores describe different things; neither is a finding of misconduct on its own.
What happens to my document?
Textsure runs the check you chose and saves the report privately in your account. Original uploads are used for processing, not saved in your report library. Your document is not added to a comparison repository by this check. See Document handling for cleanup and report-deletion details.
Will checking here make my paper match itself when I submit to my university?
No. Textsure submits with repository storage off, so this check does not add your document to Turnitin’s comparison database or create a source of self-matches. You can check first and submit to your institution afterwards. Matches to other sources or earlier submissions can still appear.
